Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi on Monday, 16 January 2023, sent a message to state officers, reminding them that they are all servants of the people as he encouraged them to do their best for the sake of delivering to the people of Kenya.
Mudavadi made the remarks after he held a meeting with President William Ruto's National Security Advisor, Dr Monica Juma
"I encourage all other State Officers to remember that we are servants of the people and we should always endeavour to put out our best in serving the nation and its people," Mudavadi tweeted.
Mudavadi noted that he engaged with Dr Juma on various matters of great value to the nation, including how his office is going to execute the roles that President Ruto gave him to ensure the operations of the government are supported.
"Monday's evening engagement with the National Security Advisor to the President Dr. @AmbMonicaJuma culminated in us exchanging critical views that will support the operations of government through the execution of the functions of the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary," noted Mudavadi.
He further revealed that President Ruto's government is actively putting in place crucial strategies needed and key to taking the country to the next step and reviving the economy and improving the lives of Kenyans.
"The government is steadily laying down key strategies that will ensure service delivery to the citizens is optimised towards the realization of a positive turnaround in the lives of all Kenyans," he added.
In President Ruto's Executive Order 1 of 2023, Ruto assigned Mudavadi new roles, which included Co-ordinating Government legislative agenda across Ministries, Supervise technical monitoring and evaluation of Government policies, and programs, Performing any other functions assigned by the President, among others.
