Kirinyaga County is hosting the event that is set to be attended by hundreds of dignitaries and led by President Uhuru Kenyatta with the Chief Guest being Malawi President who arrived in Kemya yesterday.
Ahead of the event scheduled to be hosted by Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Waiguru, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Chairman has alleged a plot to block hustlers from attending the celebration at Wang'uru Stadium in Kirinyaga.
Muthama has claimed that despite the stadium having a capacity of 10000, only 2000 will be allowed in to witness the national celebration in an attempt to block hustlers.
"The attendance to Mashujaa day celebrations will be by "INVITATION ONLY". The stadium has a capacity of 10, 000 but only 2,000 will enter. The limited entry is to prevent Hustlers from attending for obvious reasons...." UDA Chairman Johnson Muthama claimed.
