
Both the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Movement and the Kenya Kwanza Alliance are facing tough times as various politicians threaten to ditch the formations. A few days ago, the Jubilee Party leaders from the vote rich Mt Kenya region threatened to ditch the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Movement. It is now turn for president William Samoei Arap Ruto's Kenya Kwanza Alliance. Some politicians from the vote rich Mt Kenya region have threatened to ditch Kenya Kwanza Alliance over favourism and being shortchanged by close allies of the president.
The matter in Kenya Kwanza Alliance escalated after the vote rich Mt Kenya region politicians decided to vote for Hon Kanini Kega of the Azimio to join the East Africa Legislation Assembly. While hitting back, a furious Nyeri county Governor Mutahi Kahiga said that the vote rich Mt Kenya region has not been married by anyone and that is why they decided to elect Hon Kanini Kega. He added that if they are not need in the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, they should be told so that they can go away.
