Azimio Want IEBC to Halt Vote Tallying after alleging What was Happening (Video)

Kenyans eagerly await to know who will lead the country in the next five years. The race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta is mainly between UDA leader William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Tallying of the presidential results gathered pace on Friday, August 12, as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) rushes against time to beat the Tuesday deadline for announcing the outcome of the poll.

War of words have erupted at Bomas where IEBC is tallying presidential votes.

According to the video seen, Azimio agents have asked Wafula Chebukati to halt the tallying process and address their concern first.

Azimio side alleges that their rivals were engaging in irregularities in favour of Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate.

Addressing the media on Saturday, August 13, the Returning Officer for the Presidential Election Abdi Guliye said only presidential chief agents, their assistants, clerks, diplomats, observers, and the media will be allowed at the tallying center.

Chebukati said there was a need to beef up the verification exercise so that ROs can be cleared.
