Kilome constituency member of parliament Thaddeus Nzambia's father Nzambia Nzyuko has passed on.
He died at Sultan Hamud hospital this morning according to his son Thaddeus Nzambia.
His cause of death has not been revealed but he is said to be diabetic.
Nzambia, a first time MP described his late dad as a mentor, beacon of hope and inspiration, a compassionate teacher among other qualities.
The late Nzyuko was a pastor of the African Brotherhood Church(ABC).
"The cruel hand of death has robbed us of our dutiful father, the best of friends, irreplaceable mentor and beacon of hope and inspiration, a loving Pastor - the one with the heart of a good shepherd - and a compassionate teacher, a tenacious educationist," he said.
The Wiper lawmaker noted that his dad lived a life worthy of being desired.
"My dad, Pr. Nzambia Nzyuko, went back home this morning. Dad's was life so beautifully lived, a sojourn that deserves to be beautifully remembered. Rest in Peace Dad. We will dearly miss you," he wrote.
Several leaders have come out to mourn with the family by sending messages of condolences.
The body of Nzyuko has been moved to Lee funeral home for burial arrangements.
