A group of 100 Mt Kenya Youths have announced their departure from the Tangatanga political faction allied to the Deputy President William Ruto and declared their allegiance to President Uhuru Kenyatta. The announcement was made today after a meeting with Interior PS Karanja Kibicho and Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Jioni.
The group of a youths have pledged to popularize the BBI in the region and defend President Uhuru Kenyatta’s development legacy in the region.
"More than 100 youths from Mt.Kenya region decamp from Tanga Tanga camp and pledge to popularize and support BBI in the region.
"The youths were accompanied by PS Interior Karanja Kibicho, and Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni," reported the standard.
President Uhuru Kenyatta since his Sagana meeting with Mt Kenya delegates embarked on a journey to take grip of the Mt Kenya region from his deputy who had appeared to make crucial inroads in the region.
The turn of events promises a blissful political future for the BBI which has met hostility following intensive campaigns carried out by the Tangatanga political faction in decampaigning the BBI.
