ODM party leader, Raila Odinga was in Radio Ramogi this morning over a phone call. This is ahead of the Madaraka Day preparations tomorrow. He was invited by Victor Juma (presentor) and Joe Ageyo.
His first response was directed towards the suspension of commissioning of the Railway Station in Kisumu by the President. Speaking in Luo, He responds by saying that the project is not yet done and so it can't be opened.
He also responds on issues of BBI. Hon Odinga says that handshake is meant to benefit all Kenyans and not particularly any region.
"The handshake was to kick out favouritism. Counties have lagged behind in project management due to the little funds channelled to the counties. That's why BBI is to take care of the funds by raising it to 35%."
Hon Odinga assures Kenyans that they have a good lawyers to present their petition. We are sure we will sail through."
