Former Mukurueni constituency member of parliament Kabando Wa Kabando, has reacted to the revelation by National Assembly speaker Justin Muturi that president Uhuru Kenyatta had told him that they will retire from active politics together with the former prime minister Raila Odinga.
The vocal politician who has predicted that President Uhuru will betray the Orange Democratic Movement party boss has stated that he will not say he was not warned over this by his close friends.
"Thrice President Uhuru Kenyatta has told me that he is to retire with ODM leader Raila Odinga 2022. That was the only condition of their handshake- Justin Muturi. My friend Tinga won't say genuine friends didn't warn him! They're also whispering that MONEY changed hands. Well." He posted on his Twitter handle.
President Uhuru and Raila are perceived to be best of friends currently, they have been enjoying a good working relationship since their handshake in August 2018. Raila is being perceived as Uhuru's Preffered successor as opposed to his deputy Ruto.
