Recently appointed Mount Kenya Unity Forum spokesperson Martha Karua has convened a meeting that will take place on Saturday October 23rd at Star-wood Hotel in Kerugoya.

The Nack Kenya party leader will hold talks with presidential aspirants Makueni Governor Professor Kivutha Kibwana, former UNCTAD Secretary General Mukhisa Kituyi and the Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi.

According to sources who spoke with the Star, the agenda of the meeting will be an extension of talks the leaders had few weeks ago when they were hosted by Kibwana in Makueni County.

The meeting that is scheduled to kick of from 10am will also create an opportunity for the leaders to address issues ranging from governance, the country's unity and good leadership.

According to the invite, the unity of Mount Kenya Region would be among the top agendas of the day.

This meeting comes few days after Karua alongside Chama Cha Kazi party leader Moses Kuria announced that there will be a Limuru three meeting early next year when the leaders from Mt Kenya will announce their stand ahead of the polls.

Several sources have indicated that the former Justice Minister is positioning herself to secure the running mate post to a suitable aspirant.
