"It Might Get Messy But You Must Defend Your Party at All Times" CS Aden Duale Tells KKA MPs

Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale is among President William Ruto's CSs who attended the first ever Majority Coalition Parliamentary Caucus held at Windsor Hotel, which brought together elected leaders under the Kenya Kwanza Alliance camp.

Duale owing to his excellent experience in legislation and debates in the National Assembly, is among the leaders who advised the KKA camp on what to do, how to advance the interests and ideologies of their parties or the coalition.

Taking to Twitter shortly after the meeting Duale told the MPs that at times things might be good and the next time they are messy, but in all times, they must stand to defend their respective parties or the alliance.

"Sometimes it gets messy; other times it gets merry. But in all times, you must stand to defend the Party; its agenda and ideologies! I'm looking forward to a more interactive 13th Parliament and an articulate Majority Party."

His remarks came after President Ruto who also addressed the meeting, urged the KKA lawmakers to resist any temptation' to criticize their government, saying that they should use the available means within the coalition, the caucus and the regular KKA parliamentary group meetings to air out their views, instead of 'joining' the opposition in doing their work.
