A man has left Kenyans talking different languages after he revealed the alleged amount of money he used to put up this house (shown above).
The house looks simple in terms of material used to construct it, but somehow classic in appearance.
Kennedy Kipkoech took to social media and said the house is semipermanent, and it is in Nandi County.
He further alleged that he used Sh150,000 to construct the house.
"Semipermanent Ksh 150k mpaka hapo Nandi county," captioned the photos without giving a break down of the amount.
However, the house has left a section of Kenyans in disagreement. Some are saying the figure given is too little to put up such a house.
Others said the owner could have sourced construction material such as roofing timber from his farm.
See what Kenyans said on Facebook.
Jonas Ed: Some people believe building a house should be expensive till they disagree with the one who has built cheaply.
Sylvester M. Omondi Junior: True, hiyo nyumba sio kubwa, unaweza kuwa ya mabati 35,ama vipi bro
Nelly Ilote Shimila: Hii ni nyumba ya matope then plaster yote if am not wrong it's possible that amount
Ndeda Muhingi Eric: Danganya wajinga. Not less than 500k
Dismus Odhiamboh: This is not your house you have no clue about building. The timbers used in this roof plus mabati plus windows and doors plus ballast alone is above the amount mentioned. You've not counted sand, cement, nails, labour charge, paint...
Summer Dao' Dee: Wenye mnasema ni uongo, kwani nyinyi ndo mliijenga? Si mwenyewe amesema quotation yake tu?? Watu wengine jameni
