Since the announcement of the running mate, Kenya Kwanza brigade has taken there horns to the mount Kenya region for the vote hunting mission.
Mount Kenya region has been the stronghold for president Kenyatta for the last two elections. As things stand now, it seems that the mountain is divided since the two top presidential contenders picked there running mate from the region.
Tomorrow, the Kenya Kwanza brigade led by deputy president William Ruto and his running mate Rigathi Gachagua will be heading to Nyandarua county that is in Mount Kenya region. They'll make stopovers at Ol'kalou, Miharati and Magumu to address there supporters.
Both the team's are making sure that they bag the votes of that region because it's rich in votes that can make one win the election.
On the other hand, the Azimio team led by Martha Karua has been in the region drumming up support for Raila.
