The secretary general of the KANU party, Nick Salat, has been suspended as of today. A few days after being spotted in Uhuru Gardens for the Jamuhuri celebrations, he was suspended. Additionally, he has been forming closer ties with the dominant UDA, and he dug his own grave. Following his suspension, Gideon Moi allegedly stated, and I quote,
By evaluating our performance in the most recent elections and putting policies in place to strengthen our grassroots structures, we have started the process of restructuring our party. This will help us increase and broaden our support base. attending the Nakuru meeting of the KANU National Executive Council. He spoke. Things are becoming warm already, so politicians are putting on their winter coats.
