In the statement issued by the governor, he asks those who were defeated in the recent by elections, to avoid dwelling so much in lamentations.
He also asked those who won not to overdo their celebrations, as this are trying times, and that they should quickly turn their attention to serving the local citizens.
He also warned those who think that the results in the by election, are the reflection of what is to happen in the next general elections.
Telling them that the by elections have never been an indicator of what is to happen during elections day, and that non of the results will guide the voters on how to work.
He asked leaders to tackle the immediate issue affecting Kenyans, which is the corona pandemic, and chart the way forward, on what has to be done to bring back life to normalcy.
