Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is a Ugandan politician, popular singer and a prominent businessman. He was born on 12 February 1982 at Nkozi Hospital in Uganda. Bobi Wine is the president of the now biggest opposition party in Uganda, the National Unity Platform (NUP), a party he used to vie for in the presidential general elections in Uganda earlier this year in which incumbent President Yoweri Museveni was declared the winner.
Bobi Wine a first time presidential candidate and a first time Member of Parliament for Kyadondo East Constituency in Uganda, gave president Yoweri Museveni sleepless nights during the campaigns though at long last the later won. But ever since president Museveni was declared the winner, Bobi Wine has never conceded defeat claiming that the elections were not free and fair. He has since taken his case to the supreme court.
According to a tweet by the Nation Africa, Bobi Wine has demanded for audit and has rejected call for dialogue.
