Only few days remains before the scheduled date for general election in Kenya is reached, politician eyeing for different positions in government traverses across the country looking for votes. The same is done by presidential candidates. The race seems to be a Two horse race that is Dp Ruto and Raila Odinga.
Wiper party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka faced political turbulence after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission failed to remove him from office, despite his earlier concentration on the president following his resignation from Raila's Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition. Make a mad dash for the most coveted seat.
The IEBC canceled the presidential election on Friday, and Kalonzo's name was not on the list of 16 candidates.
Kalonzo looks fired but has not yet left as new details emerge about his next political move before August 9.
According to Taifa Leo on Friday, Kalonzo is expected to join Raila's Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition. The shocking event is expected to take place next Tuesday as Raila is likely to benefit.
Kalonzo's absence from Raila's political structures has left a void that would jeopardize Raila's bid for the presidency as the former Deputy President controls most of the country's votes, especially in Kenya's Lower Eastern region.
