Upon being sworn in as the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya on the 13th of September 2022, the brand new President and Commander In chief of the Armed Forces William Ruto embarked on a new responsibly to improve and deliver what his predecessor failed to do. Part of the president's strategy has been reorganizing and restructuring the manpower in various government ministries in order to realign the workforce with what he dubbed the "plan"
In the process of reorganizing and restructuring the public workforce, it has now been alleged by ODM party leader Raila Odinga that the Ruto led Administration is firing workers like dogs. Odinga has noticed that Government workers who have held public offices for a very long time are being sent parking without a substantial reason.
The veteran opposition leader maintains that this is not soo good an idea as the workers hmwho have been sent parking will not only find it difficult getting employment again but will also most likely not receive their pensions as they should. Some of these folks will soon reach the elderly age bracket and will require their pensions to take care of themselves.
The Azimio kingpin also reveled that the only sin committed by the public servants being sent home is having worked with the Jubelee administration under the leadership of Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.
