Kenya women lawmakers under their Kenya Women parliamentary association ( KEWOPA) are currently converging in Naivasha for an induction retreat.
According to photos shared by Aldai member of parliament Mariene Kitany who is present in the induction retreat, several women legislators are attending the underway meeting.

Gender and public service cabinet secretary Aisha Jumwa flanked by other ministry officials are also present in the retreat.
Lawmakers present includes; Nyeri women representative who doubles as chairperson of 47 women representative Rahab Mukami, Githunguri MP Gathoni Wamuchomba, Naivasha MP Jane Kihara, Njoro MP Charity Kathambi, Gilgil MP Wangari and Kakamega women representative Elsie Muhanda.
Others present includes; nominated senators Veronica Maina, Essy Okenyuri, Joyce Korir, Kitui women representative Irene Kasalu among other women lawmakers across the country.
This retreat comes a day after gender cabinet secretary Aisha Jumwa hosted several women Lawmakers at his office in Nairobi for a consultative meeting.
Nyeri women representative Rahab Mukami, EALA legislator Iman Falhada and Anab Gure were part of the visiting delegation to CS Aisha Jumwa office.
