Cabinet secretary for interior ministry Dr. Fred Matiang'i seems to be the most powerful leader after president Uhuru Kenyatta in the country right now. This is because of some of the Government projects that are supposed to be commissioned by the deputy president William Ruto are being given to him to do the work.
This is after the president sent the cs to kick of a government project in Ekerenyo Nyamira county where the Government will refurbish and equip more maternal units in the country. Matiang'i says that completion of hospital such as the Igena Itambe will ensure Kenya healthcare comes back on track.
"Today in Ekerenyo, Nyamira County, we kicked off a national government project to refurbish and equip maternal and newborn units countrywide. Completion of facilities such as Igena Itambe hospital will ensure we are back on track," Matiang'i wrote.
These comes after one week since the cs was also sent by the president to Zambia with a special message to the newly elected president Hakainde Hichilema.
