Kenyans have not spared the Gatundu South member of Parliament on social media after he posted on his Facebook page that the president is fixing the constitution for his on good because he (president Kenyatta) has power, money and influence.
Here are some of the reactions by Kenyans;
"The constitution says every ten years there will be some sort of peer review by people, with the people and for the people. The constitution is not cast on stone," said Kenfish Peter.
"Whoever brings the amendment, it's the people who will have the final say you have included," said Jimmy Mbugus.
"There is something funny about this statement. The same principles thd lawyers are using to say the wanjiku in the BBI case is Junet and Waweru is also used in the husler narrative that Kuria is the husler," said Luke Mwangi.
"There is no constitution which is being changed. We are amending the constitution, and parliament has done this before and uncountable times," said Cornelius Muriithi.
"Constitution in any country is made in such a way that it can accommodate future changes," said Charming Prince Dan.
Meanwhile, what is your take on Kuria's statement?
