Ground Imebadilika? The Huge Gap Between Kenya Kwanza And Azimio Candidate

The ground is becoming slippery to the political parties as they struggle to get maximum votes across the country. The main political parties have joined to form coalitions and alliances so as to boost their ultimate chances in getting the majority of votes and seats in both Parliaments.

The Raila led Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition boasts of over 20 parties while Ruto's Kenya Kwanza has about ten registered parties. All these have been transversing the whole country trying their best to have their candidates win the majority seats. Many opinion polls have been conducted by several media research companies such as Infotrack, Mizani, Kenya. among others. The polls are being conducted to help candidates and electorates to know who is likely to win. The latest opinion polls done across the Mount Kenya region shows a clear winner between Raila Amollo Odinga and his close rival Dr. William Samoei Ruto. While many Counties at the mountain still support Ruto, its good to note that Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga has made tremendous efforts in central region.

According to the latest opinion polls, Ruto enjoys popularity of 47% with Raila having 36% only in Laikipia County. In Embu, Ruto leads with 51% and Raila 31% while in Kirinyaga, Raila managed only 19% with Ruto getting 59%. Martha Karua who hails from Kirinyaga County and doubles up as the running mate of Azimio One Kenya Coalition Presidential candidate Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga should up her game. She is yet to convince her County to support the Azimio boss.

In Nyeri County where the Rigathi Gachagua hails, Ruto has a massive support of 58% as compared to 21% enjoyed by Raila.

In total, Ruto begins with the huge margin between him and his close rival Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga. Ruto enjoys an overall popularity of 52% with Raila managing 27%. However, the undecided figure stands at 20% which might tilt the final general results of the presidential elections.

Kindly share this, follow me and like it too as we endeavour to bring more news across the country. What are your take? As it stands, if elections were held today, Ruto would win massively in Mount Kenya region by a wider margin.
