Confusion During Mashujaa Day Celebrations as Commentator Refers to Rachel Ruto as President's Wife

Today's commentator during Kenya's Mashujaa Day celebrations has elicited mixed reactions after he referred to deputy president William Ruto's wife Rachel Ruto as president's Wife.

He said this while acknowledging some of the dignitaries who had already arrived at the venue Wang'uru stadium in Kirinyaga county where the function is currently ongoing.

Dp Ruto together with his wife Rachel had just arrived at the podium and shook hands with several leaders among them his political rival and former prime minister Raila Odinga and One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals who had arrived earlier.

Whether the commentator referred to Rachel as president's wife intentionally or it was just a slip of the tongue is not known but the statement has raised alot of questions.

Considering the political temperatures in the country and the relationship between dp Ruto and his boss president Uhuru Kenyatta,it was somehow not in order to make such a mistake infront of citizens.
