The UDA supporters who are in support of Ruto's candidate Njuguna wa Wanjiku clashed with their Jubilee counterparts over the use of a venue that police had earlier blocked due to the fact that both groups had already booked it.
In a video shared by Nation, a group of rowdy youths especially those donning UDA merchandise can be seen clearly overwhelming and chanting down those who are faintly chanting Jubilee Party slogans.
Police can be seen in the background trying to bring back calm, law and order as they try to peacefully prevail upon all the supporters to leave the place so that peace prevails.
The two candidates are expected to take on each other next week on Thursday 15th July in the race to capture the Kiambaa Constituency seat that was left vacant after the untimely death of former area member of parliament Paul Koinange.
