According to Mr. Omogeni, he has however informed that the errors are not that dangerous that they can affect the purpose of the bill informing that the mistakened typos will be rectified by the Members of Parliament.
“BBI bills that were sent to county assemblies had typing errors, but we all said it is not a mistake of substance and can be corrected by the bicameral House [Parliament], "Senator Okongo Omogeni has said.
Senator Sylvia Kasanga has also commented on the bill stating that Kenyans should not be cowed that there is a problem with the BBI extending that she even don't see sabotage at all in the issues of errors in the BBI Bill report.
“I don’t see sabotage at all in the issues of errors in the BBI Bill report. Those typos should not be blown out of proportion," Senator Sylvia Kasanga has said.
Counties Assembly Forum Chairman Ndegwa Wahome has said that he has not heard any complaints from the county assembly speakers adding that with no doubt the BBI Bill is headed to the referendum.
"I have done due diligence and according to the speakers of the 47 county assemblies, they did not notice any error in the BBI Bill.," Ndegwa Wahome, Chairman- County Assembly Forum has said.
“There has never been any doubt where the BBI Bill is headed to- [the referendum].”-Ndegwa Wahome added.
