Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Commissioner Roselyn Akombe has today sparked mixed reactions after her message was published online.

Roselyn Akombe, who has been commenting on issues affecting the country, today shared a message on her social media page about her homecoming.

From her tweet, Mrs. Akombe revealed that she was happy to be back home as she is currently in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia after weeks of traveling in West and Southern Africa.

"Great to be back home in #Addis after weeks in West & South Africa - @Sheraton_Addis," she wrote.

Reacting to her post, Kenyans asked her to return to Kenya because the country now has a new administration. Kenyans have urged her to come back because the nation is now governed by a new government in response to her message.

Here are some Kenyans' responses to the situation:

The Njeri Kamau Fantastic to gain from your knowledge about and experiences with Africa! Welcome back, family!

John Mwite: Welcome back to your own Kenya; a new president has taken office.

Virgil Tanaka We are happy to have you back. Your post has been taken over by opaque cherera, an academic null stater.
