UDA Supporters Clash With Police Demanding That IEBC Announces Results

Activists from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party in West Pokot have been engaged in a tense standoff with police. As they requested that IEBC declare the results for the region, the enraged adolescents and men attacked the police in combat. As a result, the supporters were eager to find out whether or not the IEBC had finished counting votes.

In the midst of the evening rush, they threw and threw stones at police officers. According to the IEBC's regional presiding officer, the results will be ready to be uploaded or rather updated as soon as some key concerns are resolved. That wasn't enough for the voters, so they staged a protest.

The police got involved and got to work right away. Although they tried to disperse the gathering, nothing happened. Because they were concerned about possible vote-rigging at some polling locations, supporters pushed for the results to be announced immediately by IEBC's presiding officer.
