Uganda's President Museveni has asked churches to turn away Ebola patients seeking healing prayers.
Museveni, while addressing Ugandans on matters of national importance on Wednesday, October 12, observed that churches could not deliver miracles to the Ebola outbreak.
The head of state also told witch doctors, traditional healers, and herbalists should not accept any sick people at the moment.
Museveni urged Ugandans who had gone into hiding to come out immediately and report to health workers for proper follow-up.
However, Museveni said there was no confirmed case of Ebola in Kampala City.
Netizens reacts:
πππ§: In simple terms, Museveni is saying that God cannot heal Ebola.
ππ¨ππ₯: 'No miracles in churches'? And the way kenyans believe in prophet Owuor miracles! Who is fooling who?
πππ°π’: Museveni is an awesome leader when it comes to these diseases. He did an excellent job clawing Uganda out of the AIDS crisis in the 1980s and 90s
ππ₯π₯π²: And Bishop ruto is working with m7 so how will we trust non believers or they are freemasons.
ππ§π§: Ruto working with non believer is something that strikes my nerves, he must be freemason leader
