As all presidential candidates who are out to seek prominence in the Mount Kenya region continues with their attempts,to climb Mount Kenya,the region is continuously getting more divided as each day passes.
According to the reports, Mount Kenya leaders led by Moses Kuria,who is an ally of Deputy President William Ruto,TSP party leader Mwangi Kiunjuri among other leaders have endorsed Martha Karua,the Narc Kenya party leader as Mount Kenya spokesperson.
The announcement by the top leaders was made in Naivasha,where the leaders are having a retreat to discuss the Mount Kenya unity talks.
Martha Karua's endorsement opens a major heat of politics in vote rich Mount Kenya region,which has over six millions votes.
Already,some sections of Gikuyu Council of Elders led by Uhuru's kin Kung'u Muigai had endorsed National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi as the region's spokesperson.
The installation was however,met by strong criticism from some section of leaders from the region,who said that they don't recognize Muturi.
