Raila Alleges The Amount Of Money DP Ruto Uses Per Month In His Campaigns, Questions Source

Retired prime minister Raila Odinga who is seeking election as the fifth president of Kenya for the fourth time has once again hit at his chief competitor deputy president William Ruto. While in a rally Trans Nzoia county today, Raila alleged that DP Ruto is using excess amount of money in forms of handouts to the electorate that is raising serious questions to his source of wealth.

According to Raila, Ruto is using up to a tune of ksh 100 million per month in giving handouts to both the ordinary Kenyans and buying cars for members of the clergy in the churches he visits.

This is coming few days after reports emerged of ordinary Kenyans fighting over the share of the money that Ruto leaves behind in his campaigns.

"DP Ruto buys vehicles for bishops and pastors. In a month he uses ksh 100 million yet his salary is only ksh 2 million. Where does he get that money?" Raila has asked while in Trans Nzoia county today.
