Kalonzo Finally Comes Out To Defend Raila Over His Remarks About Mitumba.

Raila Odinga has faced a barrage of criticism from Kenyans and fellow politicians in the last week after declaring that if he wins the presidential election, he intends to shut down the Mitumba business in the country. This drew a lot of ire and criticism from some who said he was about to destroy the livelihoods of many Kenyans.

After a lengthy silence, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who recently re-joined Azimio, has come out to defend Raila's words from last Monday. Raila had been misquoted, Kalonzo stated on Sunday, and what people thought he said was not what he meant. Raila has stated that the Mitumba business will continue, but the clothing will be manufactured in Kenya, according to the Wiper leader. As a result, both the outcome for Kenyans and the government's revenue will improve.

"I was present when Raila announced the introduction of our Manifesto. Alisema Mitumba itaendelea lakini Mitumba itakuwa inatengenezwa hapa Kenya tukiimarisha kupanda Kwa pamba Alisema Mitumba itaendelea lakini Mitumba itakuwa inatengenezwa hapa Kenya tukiimarisha kupanda Kwa pamba Mbaya kwa hivyo hakuwa anaongea. Wakome watafute kwingine wakome watafute kwingine wakome watafute Wana Azimio wote wanaheshimu wanamitumba wote, Wana Azimio wote wanaheshimu wanamitumba wote, Wana Azimio wo "Kalonzo remarked.
