President William Ruto and leader Azimio Raila Odinga reportedly sent a stern warning to their followers during a meeting over the weekend, according to Mbeere North MP Geoffrey Ruku.
Ruku said it was wonderful to watch the two presidents conversing in a K24 interview on Monday.
"It strongly advises supporters to put an end to their fighting. We can argue in the streets and in our communities, but two leaders never argue, he said.
The two leaders sat together and even shared a happy moment, according to Ruku, signaling that they are not at odds.
Field Marshal Mukami Kimathi was laid to rest in Nyandarua over the weekend, and Ruto and Raila were in attendance at his funeral. Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua welcomed Raila.
