President William Ruto this evening visited Kakamega County where commissioned Kakamega airstrip and inspected Kakamega Teaching and Referral Hospital. He also met with leaders from Western Kenya including the Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, COTU Secretary General Dr Francis Atwoli, Kakamega Governor Fernandes Barasa, Vihiga governor Wilber Otichilo and Transzoia Governor George Natembeya.

Taking to his Twitter account, the President shared some of the photos of his tour to the region. He thanked Azimio allied Dr Francis Atwoli, Governor Fernandes Barasa, Gov Wilber Otichilo and George Natembeya for rising above party politics and agreeing to work together for good of the people.
