Raila Odinga Makes a Move After Losing To Dp Ruto, Calls for A Press Address at 2:00 PM

Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga is scheduled to address the Nation today at 2:00 Pm after losing the presidency to Dp William Ruto.

William Ruto of the United Democratic Alliance was announced the winner of the presidential elections by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson Wafula Chebukati on Monday, August 15th.

Ruto managed to lead with more than 7 million votes defeating his opponents Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja, Wajackoyah of Roots Party, and David Waihiga of Agano Party.

During the announcement by the IEBC chair Chebukati at Bomas of Kenya, Azimio's presidential candidate was missing from the event. However, his team through Raila Odinga's chief agent Saitabao had hinted that Raila will not be attending until they verify the results from Form 34C.

Today, the news making headlines is that Raila Odinga will address the nation. The nature of the call is yet to be out.

Some speculations are that he will accept and concede defeat while others are that he will not accept thus he will move to court to challenge Dp Ruto's win
