Former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko has today shocked many Kenyans as he turned into a motivational speaker across his social media accounts. The governor who seemed to have finally seen the light talked about how easily your friends could easily turn into enemies who later combine and discuss how much they hate you behind your back.
“How enmity, betrayal and jealousy get started,” said Mike Sonko in a lengthy post. The vocal governor gave details which clearly seemed to shed more light on his acrimonious life since his impeachment. Sonko noted that the most probable reason why your enemies unite is because of their hatred towards you, and in most scenarios they don't actually like each other.
The vocal politician went ahead to urge Kenyans not to listen to what haters had to say, but instead focus on your goals and leave the rest to God. He went on to quote a Bible verse, Deuteronomy 31:6 which urges Christians to be strong and courageous in their undertakings as God will always be by their side.
This has elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans with some reminding the Governor of how he treated his rivals while in office, and exposing their behaviors. His critics warned him that what goes around comes around, and he should not be shocked by the recent events. Below are some reactions by Kenyans.
