The Middle East has been a thorn in the flesh of many young girls who decide to venture into the world of domestic world in the Arabian Gulf.
There have been numerous complaints over the situation in the Gulf region with some girls even losing their lives as per the reports that we have with us.
This morning, news broke that sixteen Kenyan girls who had traveled to Lebanon in search of work in the hope of a better life were stuck and begging on the streets.
A local newspaper carried the tale of the 16 Kenyan girls this morning, and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Leader Martha Karua has just called for action.
Martha Karua, the head of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance, has asked the Foreign Affairs Ministry to intervene and rescue the girls trapped in Lebanon.
Martha Karua, in a social media post this morning in response to the news, has asked the Foreign Affairs Ministry to intervene and save the girls.
