The announcement and declaration of the 2022 general election results were done by the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati at Bomas tallying centre. The commissioners were split on the final tally with 4 of them making a press release at the Serena Hotel. The IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati went ahead and announced the results even after being asked questions concerning the 0.01% votes that were exceeding the total tally.
Juliana Cheryl, Wandera, Tirop and Omollo have been holding a presser at the Serena Hotel where they said that 0.01% votes were added to Ruto's basket and that there was a possible run-off if the results were going to be scrutinized well.
The details of how the poll was stolen are going to be used against the declaration of William Ruto as the 5th President of the Republic of Kenya. The commissioners who have openly given their details on why the votes were not adding up have openly blamed the IEBC chair.
