Deputy president William Ruto has made his way to the Wang'uru Stadium in Mwea after much uncertainty whether he would be attend the Mashujaa Day Celebrations.
The second in command was received at the stadium by Kenyans who with great amusement celebrated the Deputy President William Ruto.
Among allies of deputy president William Ruto present at the Wang'uru Stadium in Kirinyaga is the area woman representative Honourable Purity Wangui Ngirici.
Ngirici had earlier on attended a meeting with the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta at his official Mt Kenya region residence at the Sagana State Lodge which is within Nyeri County.
This will be the first time that the deputy president William Ruto is meeting his boss president Uhuru Kenyatta after months of having fallen out with him.
The second in command will also meet president Uhuru Kenyatta after weeks of having been asked by the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta to resign if he was not contented with the current regime.
Kenyans were not sure if president Uhuru Kenyatta would have extended a hand of invitation to his deputy to attend the national events.
