Uhuru Allegedly Fails To Show Up At A High Profile Meeting In Nairobi

It has been reported that President Uhuru Kenyatta did not show up to the Azimio meeting where he was scheduled to meet the newly elected leaders of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya party.

Martha Karua delivered the closing remarks at the summit, which was held at the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC) but was not attended by the Head of State.

The news that President Uhuru Kenyatta had convened the meeting with the leaders to discuss various concerns was reported by multiple media outlets and local newspapers early in the morning. First and foremost on Uhuru's list of priorities was determining what steps to take next with Azimio as the IEBC made its official proclamation of the results.

Kalonzo Musyoka, Junet Mohamed, Wickliffe Ombetsa Oparanya, Jeremiah Kioni, and Ali Hassan Joho were only some of the leaders that spoke during the meeting.

Election officials have asked Kenyans to be patient while they verify Form 34B submissions from all 291 constituencies, including those in the diaspora.
