"Stop Overrating Yourself" Kabuchai MP Leads Wetangula Allies in Criticizing Atwoli Over His Remarks

A section of leaders from Ford Kenya Party have blasted COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli over remarks he made few days ago that he will name the 2022 presidential candidate that the Luhya Nation will support.

The leaders led Kabuchai MP Majimbo Kalasinga urged Atwoli to desist from politics and instead focus on fighting for the rights of workers.

In his sentiments, Atwoli has indicated that come December 31st, the Mulembe Community will converge at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County where he will announce the Western Region presidential flag bearer.

"Since I was born, I was hearing about you (Atwoli). I am now a Member of Parliament, you must know that you time is up in politics and you should now go and commend on the problems of workers in this country, and stop lecturing Moses Masika Wetangula," posed Kalasinga.

Kwanza MP Ferdinand Wanyonyi supported Kalasinga arguing that Atwoli was overrating himself in determining who the Luhya community should vote for.

"He should stop overrating himself. We have people suffering when was the last time you heard Atwoli talk about workers?" said Wanyonyi.

They affirmed that the Western Region is behind the OKA principals; Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Gideon Moi.
