Orange Democratic Movement party through their director of communications Philip Etale, has alleged that there are plans to cause chaos in former prime minister Raila Odinga's rallies scheduled for today at the Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi's home county of Vihiga.

Etale has claimed that an opponent is paying youths to cause chaos at the rallies that are almost beginning, however, he has assured Kenyans and supporters that the rallies will be peaceful without any chaos witnessed.

"We are in Vihiga today. Very much in Vihiga. I hear someone somewhere is dishing out money to a few boys to cause mayhem in @RailaOdinga’s meetings. As the son of the soil, I want to make it clear that; we shall address our meetings in peace. We shall be listened to. Ends." Etale posted on his social media pages.

This comes as Raila and Mudavadi's team are locked in a battle over the Western region votes ahead of the forthcoming general elections. Both camps have since retreated to the region for aggressive campaigns.
