It is less than 48 hours since Azimio la Umoja honcho Raila Odinga called his supporters to hold demonstrations against President William Ruto-led administration.
Odinga took this step after the head of state failed to give a listening ear to a number of demands he issued to be addressed before 14 days elapsed.
Odinga demanded President William Ruto to lower cost of living, open IEBC servers to stop single handedly recruiting IEBC commissioners amongst others.
Thursday, the 9th days of March marked the end of 14 days ultimatum given to the Head of State, and while giving his briefing at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga foundation, Odinga declared nationwide demonstrations.
This demonstrations that was expected to take place in the whole country, especially in areas where Azimio enjoy support was supposed to go hand in hand with anti-President Ruto rallies.
Reports by the Star now shows that since Odinga order his supporters to go to the streets, there have been protest in number of counties over high cost of living.It must not be lost on us the protests were watched in Vihiga and Kisumu counties just a day after Odinga opened the floor for demonstrations.
