With only 35 days left to the August 9th polls, politicians across the country are traversing the country in search of votes.
Raila Odinga has been camping over the weekend in his Nyanza region, while the deputy president has been camping in central Kenya.
The latest opinion between the two leaders, that has been done at Mombasa has shown that Raila Odinga is losing his traditional base to Do Ruto.Ruto is leading with 19 votes, Raila at 16, and Wajackoyah is at 9 votes.
Mombasa county, led by the Governor Hassan Joho who doubles up as the deputy party leader for ODM is slowly being taken over by UDA.
The Deputy President has been campaigning in the coastal region, and the opinion poll results are a clearer indication that his efforts have yielded fruits.
