President elect Dr William Samoei Ruto has made a special pledge to the member of the opposition during his declaration and unvailing after emerging the winner following a recently held general elections.
Dr Ruto was announced as the president elect by the national presidential tallying officer and IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati at a colorful event held at the Bomas of Kenya which is also the national tallying centre, after defeating his main rival Raila Odinga of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance, Roots Party's Prof George Wajakoyah and Agano's Waihiga Mwaure.
During his acceptance speech, Dr Ruto who vied for president on a UDA ticket said that he would work with all elected leaders in his soon to be formed Kenya Kwanza Alliance administration.
According to Nation, the President elect William Ruto has pledged to work with the elected opposition leaders to the extent that they provide oversight on his administration, hinting at not bringing them aboard his government.
