Following the increased fuel prices by the government on Monday 15 March 2021, Kenyans have given their sentiments after President Uhuru's photo campaigning in the rain with a background of cheap fuel resurfacedd.
To begin with, Activist Boniface Mwangi has questioned if President Uhuru Kenyatta is aware that the cost of living is going up each day and Kenyans are struggling to survive.
"Will BBI lower rent, food, fees and fuel prices?" Mwangi posed. In the photo, President Uhuru Kenyatta was seen standing on top of his car as he braved the heavy rains to sell the Jubilee agenda.
In the background, the low cost of fuel at the time could be seen in one of the petrol stations.
Below are some of the comments made by other Kenyans upon seeing the photo.
- Keny Patrick Makhatse
- Where did this TURKANA fuel project went to. Kenyans do we have fuel manufacturing or not
- Pias Kimayo
- Not his mistake,but Bbi
