It is no doubt that the handshake has worked in favor of the former prime minister. This was evident today when he toured Kiambu which has for long been perceived to be a Jubilee stronghold. His presence was felt in the area judging by the crowds that had shown up to hear from the former prime minister of Kenya.
Raila's Arrival in Kiambu
Accompanied by several leaders from the region, Raila had a comfortable stay and warm reception from the resident who could be heard shouting BABA to the top of their voice. Their warm welcome forcing Raila to make an impromptu stop to Ngeche which is one of the vote-rich areas of the County.
The crowd which was happy to see the former prime minister listened attentively as he addressed them with disruption. His influence has continued to be felt in the region which was once a Jubilee turf. Raila is touring the area to sensitize the residents on the importance of voting for him.
