Ruto went to Nambale to ask the residents to support his presidential bid as he blamed the area residents for not inviting him after Jubilee won the elections.
DP Ruto however asked the Nambale residents to support him saying the next government will be formed by hustlers.
“It’s been long since I came to Nambale but it is also your fault for not inviting me. Or you don’t love visitors?” said Ruto.
“Sijapotea njia, I have come here deliberately because you are important and I want to walk with you. I want us to agree so we can build the next government together. Are you aware we want to build a hustler’s government?” said Ruto.
The deputy president said there were promises which were not fulfilled by the Jubilee government as he said he will ensure the roads in the area are tarmacked.
DP Ruto further promised that his government will create jobs for youths saying youths and hustlers are suffering.
“The last time I was here I promised to tarmac the roads and I have a debt with you, we will tarmac the road from here to Malaba,” said Ruto.
