Wetangula leads FORD Kenya Brigade in campaigning for Wafula Wakori in UDA's Mwambu Mabonga turf

National assembly speaker Moses Wetangula has today camped for a second day in Bungoma county to drum up support for his FORD Kenya party senatorial candidate Wafula Wakori.

The Wetangula led FORD Kenya party brigade camped in the political turf of their competitor Mwambu Mabonga who is vying on a UDA party ticket.

Speaker Wetangula and his team campaigned for Wafula Wakori in Bumula Constituency which is the home Constituency of UDA party candidate Mwambu Mabonga. Mabonga also served as a member of parliament in the Constituency before losing the seat in 2022.

Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka who was also in attendance praised Wafula Wakori as an articulate, energetic and focused youth person who is fit to replace speaker Wetangula as the next Bungoma senator.

" Joined national assembly speaker Moses Wetangula and other leaders for a Sunday service at St. Jude Catholic church, South Bukusu ward in Bumula Constituency. I assured Bungoma residents tht we will honour all our campaign pledges and take the county to a higher level in terms of development" posted Bungoma governor Kenneth Lusaka on his official Facebook page.

Bungoma by election will be held on 8th December next month.
