Senior Council Ahmednasir Abdullahi has revealed why blogger Dennis Itumbi was not killed by his abductors. Accident to him, he said that his abductors debated and quarreled among themselves and their masters on whether to kill him or not. He says because they know it is a taboo to shed the blood of their kinsman, they decided to spare his life.
"Glad to hear that @OleItumbi has been found alive, though tortured and badly beaten...ALMIGHTY debate/quarrel last night among his abductors and their masters on whether to spare or finish him for good...consensus: TABOO to shed the blood of a kinsman from Central."
