Mueke who worked alongside Governor Evance Kidero confirmed joining the bottom up narrative.
He is planning to succeed the Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu.
Mueke is the Co-Secretary General of United Green Movement Party.
Ruto has been wooing political leaders to support his bid for the top seat in 2022 under UDA ticket.
Mueke on the other hand is slated to succeed Governor Ngilu on a UGM ticket.
However it is still not clear whether the two parties will merge together.
The former Deputy Governor was a member of Wiper Democratic Movement which is led by Kalonzo Musyoka.
Here resigned in 2020 to join the UGM.Weke said that he had started the journey with like minded kenyans to bring the change.
He also said that he will lead the UGM party to bring the aspirations of Kenyans.He will battle it out with Charity Ngilu, Kiema Kilonzo and David Musila.
