The impeached Nairobi governor Hon. Mike Mbuvi Sonko today spoke for the first time about his alleged assassination attempt. The former governor revealed that there were people who wanted him to die in a plane crash just the same way Hon. George Saitoti was allegedly assassinated. Sonko revealed that the political game almost ended his life after getting a tip about the alleged plan to end his life.
The flamboyant philanthropist further said that he had received an intelligent report concerning his life. However, he never knew how to prevent it. Sonko revealed that he was almost giving up with his life and political game before Ann Kananu offered to save his life.
According to Sonko, Ann Kananu hired a private chopper which he used during the material day without anyone knowing. Sonko revealed that he failed to use the chopper that was allegedly meant to end his life on that day.
While thanking Ann Kananu on Tuesday 27th December 2022, Sonko revealed that Ann made a swift move and hired another chopper to save his life.
